I've been lucky to visit some special places. Some require long journeys to foreign lands, some to the remoter parts of our own islands, but many are much closer to home and can be just as special. I hope this section will both interest and inspire the visitor, as I share some of the places which I love.

By canoe or on foot, sometimes the best thing is just to grab a map, and follow a thin blue line or a wandering trail, to discover your own wild places.
